Andalusia Health is proud to announce its designation as the first Purple Heart Hospital in the state of Alabama, recognizing the organization’s commitment to honoring and supporting Purple Heart recipients, veterans, and military families within the community.
The designation was celebrated during a special ceremony attended by local veterans, Purple Heart recipients, community leaders, hospital leadership, and supporters who gathered to recognize the significance of the honor and the sacrifices made by members of the United States Armed Forces.
Becoming a Purple Heart Hospital reflects Andalusia Health’s ongoing mission to serve those who have served our country with compassion, dignity, and respect. The designation also reinforces the hospital’s commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for veterans and military families throughout the region.
